Sound & Video Technician


Ron Hesketh


  Ron Hesketh has been a member of First United Methodist since 2004 and joined the church staff as a part-time audio technician in 2011. His primary responsibility is to provide audio and video support for all functions in the Fellowship Hall and back-up for church services in the sanctuary. He also oversees the setup of staging and lighting for all fellowship hall productions to include church functions as well as outside concerts and dinners.  

His background includes computer hardware repair, radio announcing while in the US Army and teaching hardware repair technicians. He was also a volunteer firefighter for about 30 years. His hobbies include singing (member of a barbershop quartet and the church’s Tuned To Revival Gospel quartet), woodworking and model trains. He has been married since 1960 to Joyce, who is actively involved with church leadership as treasurer, a Stephen Minister, a clown, the counting team and member of the Staff Parish committee.
