Joy Potts joined the FUMC staff in October 2002 as Church Organist. Music reaches all corners of Joy’s life and it is only natural that she would seek employment as an organist. Joy, a former English teacher, is a published composer and has composed several of the songs we regularly sing in Sunday worship. Her musical talents vary from playing the organ, the piano and the keyboard to singing. If a song has music, Joy can play it!

   Joy lives with her husband, Jim, in Homosassa and is part of the barber shop quartet “Tuned to Revival” with her husband and two other members of our congregation. They minister to those in nursing homes & hospitals and spread the Good News through their musical talents.
