Theresa Webber joined the staff of FUMC in October 2006 as Administrator.  There is no way to enumerate the areas for which she is responsible!  Fortunately, she is a woman who not only understands but lives with the need to "multi-task," and every day she is involved in the total life of the church.  She schedules the use of the church facility, where every day there are multiple meetings and events.  She secures, trains, and schedules a tremendous cadre of volunteers to make possible the smooth operation of the routine events of the front office.  She has made transitions of many "pen and paper" records to the computer for more efficient records of the church's members and activities.  Currently she is supervising a computer program to maintain the records of the hundreds of people with need to whom the church responds with food, financial aid for utilities, and other needs.

Theresa came to the church with the expected gifts, talents, and experience gained from operating offices of busy corporations or churches.  However, she quickly exhibited unexpected talents that were not on her resume!  Her ability to see a problem or need, devise a plan of implementation, and organize the work to complete the task makes her a most valuable member of the church staff.  One example of this was quickly recognized when a new technology system was put in place for use in worship.  Within days, she had found the needed computer programs, mastered them, and had the congregation comfortably using the new technology in worship on Sunday morning.  She is a joy to watch as she interacts with the needy who come to our church for help, whom she greets with warmth, taking time she often does not have to see that they feel appreciated and cared for.  We all know that there is no such thing as an indispensable person, but Theresa comes about as close as any human can.   

Theresa lives in Citrus Springs with her husband, Randy, and their children, Tiffany and Alex, and Randy's mother, Shirley, their three dogs and two cats.  She loves to entertain, and to travel to nearby "fun" places to camp with her family.  She can be reached during the week at the church office, 628-4083.
