Text Box: The last nine months have been challenging, “but the Lord has led us through these days and has done miraculous things, particularly in the challenging task of friendship development,” the Joe Henry missionary family wrote recently in an E-Mail sent from their home in Chaing Mai, Thailand.
Under “breaking news” they report that Elaine (the mother) “after much prayer and Godly counsel” has decided to teach 2nd grade at Grace International School.
For “Praises!” the Henrys stated, “We received extra financial gifts recently, Text Box: wiping out a sizable deficit in our Pioneers financial account. What a great encouragement that was to us.”
They pointed out that Elaine’s tutor credited Elaine in having her accept the Lord as her Savior. Also Brittany, Justin and Caleb “all improved each quarter at school” and Jamie “is doing very well in kindergarten…”
The family asks for prayers in assisting them in learning the Thai language. Also they need additional monthly support which presently is at the 85 per cent level. Our church is one of the congregations providing monthly assistance to the Henrys. Text Box: SUMMER WILL END ON A HIGH NOTE

Text Box: Kevin, the father, will again be traveling across Siberia this fall. His first trip will be to a region for which the first English-Russian-Altai (a native dialect) dictionary was completed.
Copies will be presented to the local university as well as to Text Box: August will be a busy month for the Kevin Wooster missionary family our church helps support in Moscow, Russia according to a recent report.
The Woosters provide the orientation for groups passing through the capital on their way to Siberia to spread the good news of Christ’s saving grace.
In their E-Mail, the Woosters indicated that during the end of August a group of doctors are expected, who will be traveling to the outer areas in Russia where they will exam and fit persons for hearing aids.
The Woosters’ summer began with the family attending a nation-wide religious conference that was held outside Moscow.
They reported the session provided very inspirational programs for the more than 70 persons who were in attendance.
