Text Box: We are also bringing back the Combo Package for $11.50 and the Hog Wild Package for $16.50.
All three packages are well worth the money.
As of September, we will have been doing SHARE for five years.
The average monthly sale has been over $1,200, and we have sold more that $67,000 on food. That’s well over $130,000 in value.
This was due to the many volunteers who have put their time, talents and some personal cost to keep this program going. Families trying to stretch their food dollars have been able to eat more
and better, and others going through tough times have received free food through the donated money given to SHARE.
With a budget of only $100.00 a year and the use of the Fellowship Hall once a month, the cost to the church for this outreach program is very low but the benefits to families and the community is immeasurable.
Text Box: All volunteers should be very proud of their efforts.
Some have taken time to accept orders and collect money, others have used their own trucks and gas to drive to Ocala very early in the morning to pick up the food and then there are those who come out on D-Day to help unload, set up and distribute the food.
All in all, it is a great group of people coming together to help the community and every one of them should receive a Thank You from all those who share in the benefits provided by SHARE.
Text Box: SHARE celebrates fifteen years of being the best food bargain in the state.
To celebrate this, and to promote the SHARE Program, we will be selling tickets to the Devil Rays Baseball game on Sunday, October 2nd, at 2:15 PM against the Baltimore Orioles.
The tickets can be bought at any SHARE Site and will be delivered with the September D-Day distribution.
Steve Skelley, our youth director, already plans to buy thirteen tickets and would like to rent a bus to go to the game if he can find people willing to go along with them.
The tickets are only $5.00. Add this to the cost of the bus and it could be an outing with a lot of fun and fellowship.
The Basic SHARE Package of $18.00 will have Chicken Bites, Chicken Breasts, Smoked Ham, Salisbury Patties and Swedish Meatballs along with the usual vegetables and fresh fruits.

Following 50 hours of pre-service training, Stephen Ministers are assigned to care receivers, who benefit

from a one-hour visit per week and occasional telephone support.
Follow-up peer supervision group participation twice monthly continues the educational process and provides encouragement to the caregivers.

How easy it is to share great joys with our family members and friends.
As a congregation we celebrate baptisms, weddings, healings, and other positive aspects of our lives.
More difficult is expressing our burdens when we are sick, bereaved, unemployed, relocated, separated, divorced, or otherwise challenged by a crisis or concern.
Galatians 6:2 instructs us to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”.
