Text Box:    Dick Evans and Ernie Dorrell will lead a group from FUMC on a 10-day cruise/tour to Greece and Italy in March 2006.  The cruise will follow The 4th Journey of the Apostle Paul and will include Bible study and lectures on that theme.  22 people have already registered for this exiting adventure.  There may still be a place for you—but hurry!  The ship is 2/3 full and registrations are being received daily.
   Fly from Tampa to Athens on March 8-9.  A tour of that ancient city will include the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Mars Hill, the Agora, and the Olympic Stadium.  Walk among the ruins of Corinth and stand in the Market Place and Temples where St. Paul stood.
   Unpack for 7 days aboard the MV Astoria and enjoy all the Text Box: amenities of this 500-passenger ship chartered exclusively by Educational Opportunities Tours of Lakeland.  Visit the island of Malta, where Paul lived for 3 months following a shipwreck.  Tour some of the inns and residences of the Knights of St. John.
   Explore the town of Syracuse on the island of Sicily, where Paul spent 3 days.  Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Etna.  Visit Naples, near where Paul landed in Italy on his way to Rome.  Journey inland to the ruins of Pompeii, destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD.
   Spend two days exploring Rome, where Paul was a prisoner until his death.  Tour the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.  Visit St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, built Text Box: over St. Paul’s tomb.  Walk through the Catacombs of San Callisto and along the famous Appian Way.  See the Roman Forum, the Arch of Titus, the Coliseum, and much more.
   Then the ship will sail to Nice, on the French Riviera, from which we will fly back to Tampa.
