Eight-Week Disciple Class

Eight-Week Disciple class

Have you wanted to take a disciple class but couldn’t commit to a 30-week study?

Jan Wise will be teaching “Invitation to the Old Testament”, beginning  Wednesday, September 21, 2-4 PM and meeting weekly through Wednesday, November 9.

Stories from the Torah, the Law, the Prophets, and the Wisdom writers will establish the important connection between the Old Testament and the New ~ why one is incomplete without the other.

There will be a need for a weekly commitment and the willingness to do homework reading and workbook assignments.

Since the class is limited to 20, those who have never taken a Disciple course will be given priority. If there are remaining spaces, those who have already experienced Disciple training will be welcome.

If you have questions, call Jan Wise, 382-5799. To sign up, call the church 628-4083. Please give your name, phone number, and whether or not this will be your first Disciple class.

The Helping Hand Circle will be in charge of the “Trash & Treasure” booth. We would love to have any items you want to contribute as you go through your Fall cleaning. Call Kay Bast, at 382-4908, and she will pick up and store your treasures.

God Bless,

Kay

I would like to thank all the members of our church family for all the loving attention I received during my recent surgery.

I really appreciate your love, your prayers, and all cards and notes of support.

Unfortunately, the doctors removed most of my “starch” ~ ~ so you may not see me in church for a little while.

Thanks, too, to the Visitation Care Committee.

All my love,

Helen Dresback
