The mission statement of the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa was adopted on January 27, 2005.

The purpose of an organization’s mission statement is to give it direction, focus, and motivation.  It clearly states why an organization exists and what it intends to accomplish in the future.  Ours fits that description.  

All of us need to memorize the mission statement and do all that we can to make it a reality in our lives.
